The brand-new MG Comet EV will make its official debut in India on April 19, 2023. The MG Comet, a three-door electric hatchback with a distinct appearance, will be unlike any other EVs currently available in India. It will have a wheelbase of 2,010 mm, a length of 2,974 mm, a height of 1,631 mm, and a width of 1,505 mm. Even though it is an entry-level EV, the new Comet will be loaded to the gills with features. Other features include dual 10.25-inch displays, a two-spoke steering wheel, two airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESC. The upcoming MG Comet EV is anticipated to be equipped with a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery cell that could provide approximately 250 km of range per charge. It will be propelled by a 45 horsepower electric motor mounted behind the rear axle. It will not support DC charging, and it will take approximately 8.5 hours to fully charge using a standard AC charger. The new MG Comet for the Indian market will be an innovative electric vehicle.
