Tata Motors is aiming to complete the deliveries of the initially 20,000 models of the Tiago EV inside of the initial 5 months of deliveries commencing. Speaking to carandbike, Shailesh Chandra, President, Tata motors Passenger Cars & Electrical Mobility, “We will start deliveries from the next half of January even though we will emphasis on exam travel autos prior to that. In the future 4 or 5 months, we are aiming to produce 20,000 models to buyers.”

Chandra however added that the goal was a bit of a stretch for the company although it had been organizing on how to realize these numbers. Chandra also exposed that the demand from customers for the medium-variety Tiago EV was better than the business had envisioned.

“For me also it was a shock. I experienced imagined that the need for the medium-variety design would be lower but quite a good portion (of the bookings) are for the medium-array products,” he exposed. Chandra did not expose any figures for the bookings for the medium selection but explained that the bias was even now to the lengthy-selection model.

The Tiago EV is accessible in a selection of four variants – XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux, with the reduce and mid-spec variants presented with a scaled-down 19.2 kWh battery pack.
