As previously indicated, the EQS is available in both standard and AMG configurations in India, with the former being assembled locally. The EQS outperformed its competitors in the category of technology, including the Mercedes-Benz MBUX Hyperscreen, powered front seats with memory functions, heated and ventilated seats front and rear, air suspension, Burmester encompass audio system, Mercedes’ digital light headlamps, connected technology, and ADAS capabilities.

Both the AMG EQS 53 and EQS 580 use the identical 107.8 kWh battery cell, but the AMG EQS 53 is able to generate more electricity. The twin-motor setup in the EQS 53 produces an impressive 751 horsepower and a monstrous 1020 Nm of peak torque, whereas the identical setup in the 580 produces 516 horsepower and 855 Nm.

Prices for the EQS begin at Rs 1.59 crore (ex-showroom), placing it in competition with the BMW i7 and Audi e-tron GT.
